At the end of the League schedule, each team will be assigned to either group A or group B for a round robin schedule. Group A will consist of the teams that finished 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th during the regular season while group B will consist of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th positioned teams. Every team will then play every other team once. The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi finals (A1 versus B2 and A2 versus B1). These teams will each play 2 out of 3 semifinal series(1 hour games). The winners of the semifinals will advance to the final where they will play a 2 out of 3 final series (1.5 hour games) to determine the league champion.

The tie-breaking formula for playoff seeding and first round seeding will be as follows.

a) Most wins.

b) head to head record

c) goals for – goals against = overall +/-

d) Most goals for.
